Santa Visits Allan Myers in PA

The Shop was transformed into a Santa Wonderland as over 130 children and their families visited Berks Road on Saturday, December 3. Children were treated to photos with Santa, a balloon twister Elf, construction equipment and trucks, and a Christmas coloring station.  Each child also received an official Allan Myers knit cap.

There is much work that goes on behind the scenes to prepare for Santa’s visit.  Santa salutes the men and women who moved equipment, cleaned and painted the Shop, decorated, made outdoor repairs, organized toys, coats, boxes and bins, ordered supplies, greeted visitors and stayed afterwards to help clean up.  The team spirit at Allan Myers was truly appreciated.

The PA offices offered two ways for employees to participate in the season of giving:  1)  Toys for Tots and 2) Feel The Warmth – a non-profit that provides less fortunate children in Montgomery and Chester Counties with new and gently used winter clothing.

Thanks to the generosity of our employees at Berks Road and PA Materials we were able to present Toys for Tots with 6 bins filled with toys, several bicycles and over $1,800 in cash donations.    Over 100 coats, scarves, gloves and hats were also donated to Feel The Warmth.
